Glenn Miller

The newest story: a completed VIP Transformation Weekend.

Glenn · VIP Transformation Weekend

“I feel so much release and freedom.”

Glenn drove five hours to spend two days facing the hardest things in his life. He recorded this at the end of the weekend—the newest completed VIP Transformation.

“Friday morning, Gil asked me: one to ten, how much do you love yourself? My honest answer was a five. Tonight, my answer is about an eight.”

Glenn: My name is Glenn Miller, and I just completed a VIP Transformation Weekend with Gil Hodges through his Freedom Pathways course. Thirty days ago, from the outside, my life probably looked okay. But on the inside I was really carrying rejection, abandonment, and the inability to express my emotions—I would just stuff them.

I drove five hours to spend two days with Gil, digging into some of the hardest things in my life. What finally pushed me past the fence was a complete need for healing. What would happen if I didn't? Continuing to live the way I had been living—disconnected, unable to feel the love of the Creator.

What Gil showed me this weekend is that my entire life was running on agreements. I believed everybody would reject me. That led me to stuffing my emotions and not processing the things I needed to process. Friday morning, when Gil asked me, one to ten, how much do you love yourself—my honest answer was a five. I figured I half loved myself, half didn't. Tonight, my answer is about an eight. I feel so much better about loving myself, about connecting, about feeling my emotions and just letting go.

There were times in this process that weren't easy. We had some intense battles—things my body did not want to let go. Overall, it was a very good weekend. I highly recommend this to anyone who is really struggling with their life, whether it be addictions or depression. I absolutely recommend a Transformation Weekend with Gil. I know he can help anyone with the process.

It's very simple. It's a series of sessions over the weekend while you're here. You sit down, you identify all the places in your life that aren't operating the way they should be—that aren't operating in alignment with how we're created. We dive into the root: why do we have those agreements? Why do you feel depressed, or anxious, or rejected all the time? You go after those roots and you get rid of them.

My response has been incredible. I felt so much emotion reading through the recap of my last session today—it brought me to tears. I feel so much release and freedom from the things that we let go.

Ginger: Freedom is just organic. When we first started this journey, Gil, two years ago, I wanted to test this thing. God says, “Test and see.” Man, I've tested you, and you're authentic.

It's beautiful to see the group. It's beautiful to see my breakthrough. I want to come into the full measure of the experience and freedom of being loved like that authentically. I'm growing, and I just have to give a shout-out: this, guys, is real stuff. It's real time. It's transformational, and I've tested it, and it's good fruit.

I am so appreciative and grateful for the journey and the testimonies that are here now and to come.

Gil: I've loved being on the journey with you, seeing all the changes you've gone through. This is freedom. You're stepping out and being authentic, and I love it.

Ginger · The Pearl

“There's just this peace and calm and balance.”

Ginger describes arriving at The Pearl in pain and finding a new sense of calm, grounding, and peace.

“I came hurting. I came for healing and being out in nature and being grounded.”

Ginger: The fun part of being unstuck is being with community, loving one another, and serving one another. I walked away thinking, “I'm so grateful.” I honor The Pearl because I come and I receive, and it's so beautiful.

Gil, I came hurting. I came for healing, being out in nature, and being grounded. I left at four in the morning. Around 9:30, there was just this peace and calm and balance. For the first time I realized, “I'm not hurting.” There was not one thought. I was not hurting at all. I thought, “We're getting somewhere.”

Gil: When we are able to reach that depth of peace, it is like the meditation this morning: let's reset, get centered, and return to that space. The more we practice, the deeper we go. The deeper we go, the more we relax.

When you can relax, be centered, be in the moment, and be okay with who you are in the moment, your body gets to begin healing itself. Slow down and know that everything is going to be okay.

Jenifer Fox

A Freedom Pathway unfolding in real time.

Jenifer · Beginning the Freedom Pathway

“I’m already glad that I’m taking this journey.”

After completing her questionnaire and beginning her personal materials, Jenifer describes an immediate, emotional recognition of what the process was revealing.

“If you have just a little thought inside of you that you want to be a better person … do it. Rush. Run there. Go for it.”

Jenifer: I started the Personal Pathway to Freedom with Gil Hodges yesterday, but a couple of days ago I had to fill out the questionnaire so that he would be able to work with me. My response was, “Holy shit, Gil, it’s a lot.” Anyway, I did it. I found out that what would have been easier was to have spoken my answers in. Instead, I typed it all, but it all worked.

Then began the journey, which is fresh—just yesterday. I started reading through it. The instructions are to read the whole thing through first. I got a little way through, and I’m crying. I emailed Gil and I’m like, “I hate you.” The questions are so revealing. What you walk through—again, I’ve just begun—was so freaking emotional. I’m already glad that I’m taking this journey.

If you have just a little thought inside of you that you want to be a better person and you want to take this, all I can say is: do it. Rush. Run there. Go for it.

Jenifer · A process shaped around her

“I knew it all along, but I couldn’t reach it.”

Jenifer reflects on receiving materials shaped from her own questionnaire and recognizing something deeply personal in what came back.

“It is unfreaking believable how Gil can give you a questionnaire that you answer, and it comes back with a program that’s so true to you.”

Jenifer: It is unfreaking believable how Gil can give you a questionnaire that you answer, and it comes back with a program that’s so true to you. I look at this and I’m thinking, “Wow, I knew it. I knew it all along, but I couldn’t reach it.”

I’ve had plenty of help. I’ve had prayer ministry, healing work, and help from friends. But wow, this is great. Again, I’m very thankful—thankful for Gil. I’m just so thankful.

Jenifer · After her second session

“I’m seeing the changes. It’s wonderful.”

While reading the recap from her second session, Jenifer describes seeing her life and agreements more clearly—and beginning to notice change.

“You tell him about your life, and he turns it around, and you realize: ‘Oh my God, that really was my life.’”

Jenifer: I’m just reading the recap from my second session and wanted to respond immediately while it’s fresh in my brain. This is a testimony to anybody who is thinking about doing the Freedom Pathway. It’s amazing.

You tell Gil about your life, and he turns it around, and you realize, “Oh my God, that really was my life—and I shut myself down.” Then he takes the agreements—well, you take the agreements, but you’re being led by Gil, who is a master leader and master craftsman.

Gil, thank you so much. I’m seeing the changes. It’s wonderful. For anyone out there, listen to my words. I hope that you do it and break free. It’s worth it.

Larry Housel

Meditation, choice, and a transformed inner life.

Larry · The Freedom Movement

“It has truly transformed my inner being.”

Larry describes years in the Freedom community and how meditation, prayer, retreats, the book Choice, and practicing more authentic choices have shaped his confidence, security, and relationships.

“I’m more confident. I’m more secure. I think I’m a better husband because of who I became.”

Larry: I have been a part of Gil’s Freedom Movement for five or six years now. I love the information, the meditations, and the community time that we spend with him. One of the huge advantages I have learned from him is doing meditation and prayer. The guided meditations have been extremely helpful in many different situations.

I’ve been to his retreats and Sunday gatherings for many years. We also lead some of his courses and classes. It really can change our lives. We can bring traumas we may have been carrying from childhood or young adult life—things that have hindered us, held us back, and made us feel that we are lacking in some way.

I have been so helped by the book Choice, realizing that when we continue to make good and better choices because we are coming from an authentic and genuine place in our hearts, it transforms our situation. I don’t think I would be experiencing this lifestyle if it wasn’t for the Inner Circle and the other groups I’m a part of.

It has truly transformed my inner being. I’m more confident. I’m more secure. I think I’m a better husband because of who I became, even in this short period of time. I’ve been a Christian for thirty years, and I believe we’ve shifted into what should be called the Freedom Movement. I’ve loved it. It’s been a wonderful experience.

The work, in their words

Different lives. Different doorways. A freer way forward.

Some people speak about relationships. Others speak about faith, identity, shame, self-love, or hope. Freedom does not have one expression, but it often begins when a person can finally see and choose differently.

A voice inside faith

“Gil's teachings and courses gave my faith in God fresh strength. I found freedom from formula, doctrine, and ritual, and I came to know more deeply that God loves me unconditionally and accepts me just as I am. I am learning that my voice matters, even if no one else agrees with me.”
— MD

Relationships and hope

“My relationships have improved. I better understand why I react the way I do. I have more hope for my future. I experience more joy in everyday life. I would confidently share Gil's work with people I care about.”
— Jenifer

Authenticity

“This work has helped me become a more authentic version of myself.”
— Nicholas Sargent

Self-love

“I have learned to love myself more deeply. … Yes I would and do recommend your work to others.”
— Debbie Housel
